Pixie’s Legacy Phillida

Phillida came to us last September. She was originally bred by a puppymill in Illinois. She was purchased by a local pet shop and sold. The “owners” kept her a few months before they dumped her at the animal shelter.

She was 15 pounds underweight and had sarcoptic mange when we adopted her. She was also untrained and unhousebroken. She has now gained weight and grown several inches. She is happy and healthy. She has started training in obedience. She loves children and other dogs so she spends much of her time playing with whatever foster dogs we have.
